Ingredients
  

Brownie Batter
  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1.5 cups granulated sugar
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar packed
  • 3 eggs large
  • 2 tbsp lemon zest fresh
  • 0.5 cup lemon juice fresh
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 tsp salt
Lemon Glaze
  • 1.5 cups powdered sugar
  • 2-3 tbsp lemon juice fresh
  • 0.5 tsp lemon zest

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla extract.
  5. Fold in flour and salt just until combined.
  6. Spread batter evenly in the prepared pan.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes until just set in the center.
  8. Cool completely before glazing.
  9. Whisk glaze ingredients and spread over brownies. Let set before slicing.

Notes

Do not overbake; brownies should remain slightly fudgy in the center.
