Ingredients
  

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz pasta fettuccine, penne, or spaghetti
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.5 cup sun-dried tomatoes chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 tsp salt or to taste
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 0.25 tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper and cook in olive oil until golden and cooked through; slice.
  3. Sauté garlic in the same skillet, then add sun-dried tomatoes and cook 1–2 minutes.
  4. Stir in heavy cream, salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes; simmer until slightly thickened.
  5. Add sliced chicken and cooked pasta, tossing to coat with sauce.
  6. Top with Parmesan and basil; serve immediately.

Notes

Adjust creaminess with a splash of pasta water if needed.
