Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- Sauté onion in olive oil until soft, then add garlic and carrot.
- Mash lentils slightly in a mixing bowl.
- Add vegetables, breadcrumbs, oats, egg, tomato paste, soy sauce, and spices.
- Mix well and press into the loaf pan.
- Mix glaze ingredients and spread on top.
- Bake 40–45 minutes until firm.
- Rest 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
