Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz pasta dry
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 0.75 cup Parmesan cheese grated

Equipment

  • Large pot or deep skillet
  • Wooden spoon

Method
 

  1. Sauté garlic in butter and olive oil until fragrant.
  2. Add liquids and dry pasta, bring to simmer.
  3. Cook, stirring often, until pasta is tender.
  4. Season and stir in Parmesan cheese.
  5. Rest briefly and serve.

Notes

Sauce thickens as it rests. Add milk if needed.
