Ingredients
  

Taco Filling
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 0.5 cup water
Assembly
  • 12 hard taco shells
  • 1.5 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C) and arrange taco shells upright.
  2. Cook onion and garlic in olive oil until softened.
  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in taco seasoning and water; simmer until thick.
  5. Fill taco shells with beef and top with cheese.
  6. Bake 10–15 minutes until cheese is melted and shells are crisp.

Notes

For extra crisp edges, let cheese touch the shell sides.
