Method
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Pat halibut fillets dry and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Drizzle fish with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl mix melted butter, garlic, parmesan, breadcrumbs, parsley, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Spoon the parmesan mixture over the top of each fillet and press lightly.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until fish flakes easily with a fork.
- Optional: broil for 1–2 minutes for an extra crispy crust.
- Garnish with parsley and lemon wedges and serve immediately.
Notes
For extra crispiness, broil briefly at the end. Avoid overcooking the halibut to keep it tender and moist.
