  • 16 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple well drained
  • 0.5 cup pecans finely chopped
  • 0.25 cup green onions chopped
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 0.25 tsp salt

Method
 

  1. Beat cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Mix in pineapple, sugar, and salt.
  3. Fold in pecans and green onions.
  4. Chill until firm, then shape into a ball.
  5. Roll in chopped pecans and refrigerate until serving.

Notes

Drain pineapple thoroughly to avoid excess moisture.
