  • 0.5 cup rolled oats old-fashioned or quick
  • 0.75-1 cup milk any type
  • 0.33 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 0.5 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1-2 tbsp maple syrup or sweetener to taste
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract optional
  • pinch of salt

Method
 

  1. Combine oats, milk, pumpkin, spice, sweetener, vanilla, and salt in a large microwave-safe bowl. Stir well.
  2. Microwave on high for 2 minutes. Stir.
  3. Microwave another 1-2 minutes until creamy. Let sit 1 minute.
  4. Adjust taste, add toppings, and serve hot.

Notes
