Red Velvet Layer
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 0.5 tsp baking powder
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 0.5 cup butter melted
  • 0.75 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp red food coloring
Cheesecake Layer
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 0.33 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Prepare red velvet batter and spread into pan.
  2. Mix cheesecake layer until smooth.
  3. Layer cheesecake over red velvet batter.
