Ingredients
  

Truffle Base
  • 12 Reese’s peanut butter cups chopped
  • 8 oz semi-sweet or dark chocolate chopped
  • 0.25 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
Coating
  • cocoa powder for rolling
  • optional toppings nuts, sprinkles, or sea salt

Method
 

  1. Chop Reese’s peanut butter cups into small pieces.
  2. Heat cream until simmering and pour over chopped chocolate. Let sit 2–3 minutes, then stir until smooth.
  3. Stir in vanilla and chopped peanut butter cups until fully incorporated.
  4. Chill mixture for 1–2 hours until firm.
  5. Scoop and roll mixture into balls, then coat in cocoa powder or optional toppings.
  6. Refrigerate truffles for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top of truffles before chilling.
