Ingredients
  

  • 0.5 cup small sago pearls
  • 1 cup water for boiling sago
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries hulled and sliced
  • 0.5 cup sugar adjust to taste
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • Ice cubes optional, for serving

Method
 

  1. Bring water to a boil. Add sago pearls and cook until translucent, about 10–12 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. Mix sliced strawberries with sugar and let sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Combine cooked sago with coconut milk and salt in a bowl.
  4. Gently fold in sweetened strawberries and their juices.
  5. Chill for 15–20 minutes or serve immediately with ice cubes.

Notes

Add strawberries and coconut milk just before serving for best texture.
