Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place pie crust in a 9-inch pie pan.
- Whisk together melted butter, sugar, honey, and heavy cream until smooth.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract and sea salt.
- Pour mixture into pie crust and smooth the top.
- Bake 35–40 minutes until custard is set but slightly jiggly in the center.
- Cool at room temperature for 1 hour, then chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
- Sprinkle lightly with sea salt before serving. Optionally drizzle extra honey or top with whipped cream.
Notes
Avoid overbaking for silky custard; store covered in fridge for up to 3 days.
