Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 1 lb boneless chicken breast thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil for cooking
Noodles
  • 8 oz ramen noodles or udon/spaghetti
Gochujang Sauce
  • 2 tbsp gochujang Korean chili paste
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp ginger grated
  • 0.25 cup warm water
Garnish
  • 2 green onions sliced
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • chili flakes optional

Equipment

  • Large skillet or wok
  • Pot for noodles
  • Mixing bowls
  • Whisk

Method
 

  1. Cook noodles according to package instructions and drain.
  2. Mix sliced chicken with soy sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch.
  3. Whisk gochujang, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and water.
  4. Cook chicken in a hot skillet with vegetable oil until browned.
  5. Add noodles to the skillet and pour in the gochujang sauce.
  6. Return chicken to the pan and toss everything together.
  7. Garnish with green onions, sesame seeds, and chili flakes before serving.

Notes

Add vegetables like mushrooms, bok choy, or carrots for a more complete meal.
