Method
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and brown sausage on both sides.
- Remove sausage and sauté onion and bell peppers until softened.
- Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Stir in rice and toast briefly.
- Add seasonings, broth, and return sausage to skillet.
- Cover and simmer until rice is tender.
- Rest, fluff, garnish, and serve.
Notes
Use any smoked or chicken sausage. Adjust seasoning to taste.
