Ingredients
  

Green Beans
  • 1 lb fresh green beans trimmed
Mustard Butter Sauce
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 1.5 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice fresh
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 0.125 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Trim and wash the fresh green beans.
  2. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook green beans for 3–4 minutes until bright and tender-crisp.
  3. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop cooking.
  4. In a skillet, melt butter and add minced garlic. Cook 30 seconds.
  5. Whisk in Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  6. Add green beans to skillet and toss to coat evenly.
  7. Serve warm and adjust seasoning as needed.

Notes

Add lemon zest or red pepper flakes for extra brightness or heat.
