Ingredients
  

  • 3-4 lb beef chuck roast
  • 4 yellow onions thinly sliced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic minced

Method
 

  1. Season and sear roast.
  2. Layer onions and garlic in slow cooker.
  3. Add butter, broth, Worcestershire, and herbs.
  4. Cook on LOW 8–9 hours or HIGH 4–5 hours.
  5. Shred beef and stir into onion gravy before serving.

Notes

Best cooked low and slow for maximum tenderness.
