Method
- Mix yogurt, lemon juice, garlic, ginger, garam masala, turmeric, and salt. Coat chicken and marinate.
- Sauté onion, garlic, and ginger in butter until soft.
- Add onion mixture, tomato sauce, tomato paste, and spices to the slow cooker.
- Add marinated chicken and stir gently.
- Cook on LOW for 5–6 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.
- Stir in heavy cream during the last 20 minutes.
- Garnish with cilantro and serve with rice or naan.
Notes
Adjust spice level with additional chili powder or cayenne.
