Ingredients
  

Korean Beef
  • 2 lb beef chuck roast
  • 0.75 cup soy sauce low sodium
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 3 tbsp gochujang adjust to taste
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger grated
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
Noodles & Garnish
  • 12 oz noodles udon, lo mein, or egg noodles
  • 0.25 cup green onions sliced
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Equipment

  • Slow cooker
  • Mixing bowl
  • Tongs or forks
  • Pot for noodles

Method
 

  1. Place beef in the slow cooker.
  2. Whisk sauce ingredients and pour over beef.
  3. Cook on LOW 7–8 hours or HIGH 4–5 hours.
  4. Shred beef in the slow cooker.
  5. Cook noodles separately and add to beef.
  6. Garnish and serve hot.

Notes

For thicker sauce, uncover and cook on HIGH for 15 minutes.
