Ingredients
  

Cookie Dough
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 0.75 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar packed
  • 0.25 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg large
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets.
  2. Cream butter, peanut butter, and sugars until fluffy.
  3. Add egg and vanilla; mix until combined.
  4. Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt separately.
  5. Mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients.
  6. Roll dough into balls and flatten with fork.
  7. Bake 9–11 minutes until edges set.
  8. Cool slightly before transferring to rack.

Notes

Do not overbake for soft centers.
