- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
- Gradually add dry ingredients, mixing just until combined.
- Fold in Easter M&M candies and chocolate chips.
- Scoop dough onto baking sheets and top with extra M&Ms.
- Bake 10–12 minutes until edges are set and centers are soft.
Notes
Do not overbake for best soft texture.
