Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; gradually mix into wet ingredients.
- Beat cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and egg yolk until smooth.
- Scoop cookie dough onto baking sheets, drop cheesecake mixture on top, and swirl gently.
- Bake 12–15 minutes until edges are lightly golden and centers are soft.
- Cool on baking sheet 5 minutes before transferring to wire rack.
