Casserole Base
  • 12 oz egg noodles
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup 10.5 oz
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder

Method
 

  1. Cook egg noodles, drain, and set aside.
  2. Brown ground beef, then add onion and garlic.
  3. Stir in soup, sour cream, broth, and seasonings to form sauce.
  4. Mix in noodles until coated.
  5. Transfer to baking dish and top with cheese.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 20–25 minutes until bubbly.

Notes

Let casserole rest before serving for best texture. Add extra broth when reheating if needed.
