Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 1.5 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs
Sauce
  • 0.5 cup soy sauce low sodium
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger grated
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
For Serving
  • 3 cups cooked white rice

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Cook rice according to package instructions and keep warm.
  2. Whisk together soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, vinegar, sesame oil, and cornstarch.
  3. Sear chicken in a hot skillet until golden and cooked through.
  4. Pour sauce into skillet and simmer until thick and sticky.
  5. Serve chicken over rice and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

Adjust sweetness or saltiness by adding more honey or soy sauce to taste.
