  • 500 g ground beef
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheese

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare bell peppers by removing tops and seeds.
  3. Cook onion, garlic, and ground beef in a skillet until browned.
  4. Add tomato sauce, seasonings, and cooked rice.
  5. Fill peppers with mixture and place in baking dish.
  6. Bake covered, then uncover and top with cheese until melted.

Notes

Pre-cook peppers slightly for softer texture if desired.
