Ingredients
  

Bread Dough
  • 3.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2.25 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 egg large
Garlic Herb Filling
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1.5 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 0.5 cup cheddar cheese shredded

Method
 

  1. Activate yeast in warm milk with sugar until foamy.
  2. Mix flour and salt, add yeast mixture, butter, and egg to form dough.
  3. Knead dough until smooth and elastic.
  4. Let dough rise until doubled in size.
  5. Roll dough into rectangle and spread garlic herb butter.
  6. Sprinkle cheese evenly and roll tightly.
  7. Slice lengthwise, twist, and place in loaf pan.
  8. Bake until golden and cooked through.
