Ingredients
  

Ribs
  • 2 racks pork baby back ribs
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp mustard powder
  • 0.5 tsp cayenne pepper optional
Glaze
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Aluminum foil
  • Mixing bowls
  • Basting brush

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with foil.
  2. Remove membrane from the back of the ribs and pat dry.
  3. Rub ribs with olive oil on both sides.
  4. Mix all dry seasonings together in a bowl.
  5. Coat ribs generously with the seasoning blend.
  6. Place ribs meat-side up and cover tightly with foil.
  7. Bake for 2 1/2 to 3 hours until tender.
  8. Mix barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce.
  9. Brush ribs generously with glaze.
  10. Bake uncovered at 425°F for 8–10 minutes until caramelized.
  11. Rest for 10 minutes, slice, and serve.

Notes

For extra flavor, let the seasoned ribs rest for 30 minutes before baking. Apply sauce only near the end to prevent burning.
