Method
- Beat heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
- Fold mascarpone cheese into the whipped cream until smooth.
- Mix espresso with coffee liqueur in a small bowl.
- Add crushed ladyfingers to the bottom of each shot glass.
- Drizzle with espresso mixture.
- Add mascarpone cream layer.
- Repeat layers once more.
- Chill for 1–2 hours and dust with cocoa powder before serving.
Notes
For a non-alcoholic version, omit the coffee liqueur and add more espresso.
