- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Cube the day-old bread and place in the baking dish.
- Whisk together milk, cream, eggs, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
- Pour melted butter over bread, add optional raisins, then pour custard mixture over top.
- Let sit for 10-15 minutes to absorb.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden and set.
- Cool for 10 minutes before serving.
- Serve warm with optional toppings.
