Ingredients
  

Stir Fry
  • 500 g ground pork
  • 2 shallots finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp neutral oil
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 0.25 cup water

Equipment

  • Wok or skillet
  • Wooden spoon

Method
 

  1. Heat oil and melt sugar until amber.
  2. Add shallots and garlic, stir quickly.
  3. Add pork and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in fish sauce, soy sauce, and water.
  5. Simmer until thick and caramelised. Garnish and serve.

Notes

Serve hot over rice with lime wedges.
