Method
- In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add melted butter and egg; mix well. Gradually add flour and salt to form dough.
- Knead dough 5–7 minutes until smooth. Place in greased bowl, cover, and let rise 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking dish.
- Roll dough into a 12x8-inch rectangle.
- Mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Spread over dough, leaving ½-inch border. Sprinkle strawberries on top.
- Roll dough tightly from long side and pinch seam. Cut into 8–10 rolls.
- Place rolls in baking dish, cover, and let rise 15 minutes.
- Bake 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
- Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla for glaze; drizzle over warm rolls.
Notes
Cool slightly before glazing to avoid excess melting; store in airtight container for 2–3 days.
