Ingredients
  

  • 2.25 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 packet instant yeast 2¼ tsp
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.75 cup warm milk
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 1 egg large
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 0.25 cup granulated sugar for filling
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract for filling
  • 0.5 cup strawberries finely chopped
  • 0.5 cup powdered sugar for glaze
  • 1-2 tbsp milk for glaze
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract for glaze

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add melted butter and egg; mix well. Gradually add flour and salt to form dough.
  3. Knead dough 5–7 minutes until smooth. Place in greased bowl, cover, and let rise 1 hour.
  4. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking dish.
  5. Roll dough into a 12x8-inch rectangle.
  6. Mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Spread over dough, leaving ½-inch border. Sprinkle strawberries on top.
  7. Roll dough tightly from long side and pinch seam. Cut into 8–10 rolls.
  8. Place rolls in baking dish, cover, and let rise 15 minutes.
  9. Bake 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla for glaze; drizzle over warm rolls.

Notes

Cool slightly before glazing to avoid excess melting; store in airtight container for 2–3 days.
