Ingredients
  

Beef Base
  • 1.5 lbs ground beef
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Burger Sauce
  • 0.5 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • 0.25 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp pickle juice
  • 1 cup diced pickles
Topping
  • 3 cups frozen French fries
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese optional
  • 0.5 cup milk or cream

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease baking dish.
  2. Brown ground beef in a skillet and drain excess fat.
  3. Add onion and garlic and cook until softened.
  4. Season beef and stir in ketchup, mustard, mayo, and pickle juice.
  5. Simmer briefly and mix in diced pickles.
  6. Spread beef mixture into baking dish and top with cheddar cheese.
  7. Drizzle cream lightly over cheese layer.
  8. Add frozen fries evenly on top and bake for 30–35 minutes.
  9. Add mozzarella and bake 5 more minutes until melted.

Notes

For extra crunch, broil fries for 2–3 minutes at the end. Best served fresh with extra pickles or burger sauce.
