Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 0.75 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.75 cup chocolate chips
  • 0.5 cup toffee bits

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F and prepare baking sheet.
  2. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add vanilla and mix.
  4. Mix in flour and salt to form dough.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips and toffee bits.
  6. Shape dough and chill.
  7. Slice and place on baking sheet.
  8. Bake 18–22 minutes until golden.
  9. Cool before serving.

Notes

Chilling dough improves texture and prevents spreading.
