  • 2 cans baked beans
  • 4 slices bacon chopped
  • 0.5 cup onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.33 cup brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.25 tsp salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook bacon until crispy and set aside.
  3. Sauté onion and garlic in bacon fat.
  4. Mix beans with sugar, ketchup, mustard, and spices.
  5. Combine everything, transfer to baking dish, and top with bacon.
  6. Bake 35–40 minutes until bubbly and thickened.

Adjust sweetness and smokiness to taste for best results.
