Ingredients
  

Garlic Butter
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter softened
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 0.5 tsp Italian seasoning optional
  • salt and pepper to taste
Sandwich
  • 4 slices thick bread sourdough or Italian
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese or mozzarella mix

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Skillet or griddle
  • Spatula

Method
 

  1. Mix softened butter with minced garlic, parsley, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  3. Spread garlic butter on one side of each bread slice.
  4. Place two slices butter-side down in the skillet, top with cheese, then add remaining bread butter-side up.
  5. Cook 3-4 minutes per side until golden and cheese is melted.
  6. Slice and serve hot.

Notes

For extra crispiness, press down with a spatula while cooking.
