Ingredients
  

Homemade Sazon (if making)
  • 1 tbsp ground coriander
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin
  • 1 tbsp ground annatto or turmeric
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
Marinade & Chicken
  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 3-4 tbsp sazon seasoning homemade or store-bought
  • 0.25 cup olive oil
  • 0.25 cup orange juice fresh
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 3 cloves garlic minced

Equipment

  • Grill
  • Mixing bowl or zip bag
  • Tongs
  • Meat thermometer

Method
 

  1. Mix sazon ingredients if making homemade.
  2. Whisk marinade: oil, juices, garlic, sazon, and seasonings.
  3. Add chicken, coat, and marinate 30+ minutes in fridge.
  4. Preheat grill to 400°F.
  5. Grill chicken 6-8 minutes per side until 165°F internal.
  6. Rest 5 minutes, then serve.

Notes

Use thermometer for doneness. Adjust spice to taste.
