- Cook chopped mushrooms, onion, and garlic in olive oil for 6–8 minutes until moisture evaporates.
- Combine cooked mixture with breadcrumbs, egg, soy sauce, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Form into four patties and chill briefly if needed.
- Cook patties in a skillet 4–5 minutes per side until golden.
- Add Swiss cheese slices and cover until melted.
- Sauté sliced mushrooms in butter until browned.
- Assemble burgers with lettuce, patty, sautéed mushrooms, and toasted buns.
Notes
Chilling the patties briefly helps them hold together better during cooking.
