Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup butter cold cubed
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Baking sheet
  • Wire rack
  • Hand mixer or stand mixer

Method
 

  1. Mix dry ingredients.
  2. Cream butter and sugars.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla.
  4. Combine with dry ingredients.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Shape large dough balls and bake at 400°F for 10–12 minutes.

Notes

Do not overbake for soft centers.
